This is exhausting (10 minutes of watching The Bachelor... not Elliott)

Such is our life now. Elliott has decided that he now needs to be held 100% of the day or he will throw an absolute four limbs flailing, arch my back, turn red and crap my pants tantrum. He has also decided that it is no longer acceptable for us to hold him while we are sitting down. I have no idea how he knows the difference but we experimented tonight and when I held him while sitting in our bed he went nuts and began clawing at his face in protest. Stand up with him and he's happy as a clam in 30 seconds or less.

So I watched the Blazers game in its entirety while standing and waltzing with a baby in my arms and now am walking with a noticeable limp and I can't feel my right wrist. During time-outs and at halftime Shelbi would take over, walking around in circles in the living room during the most dramatic rose ceremony yet. Jason was supposed to eliminate two women and he eliminated THREE! Can he DO that?!

Needless to say I found myself all the more impressed with Brandon Roy doing this tonight when I can't even stand in a stationery position and carry nine pounds for 30 consecutive minutes without needing some ice.

Loving the blog! You're right, I don't know how they do that. I tried the same thing (simulating a walking motion while seated ) with absolutely no success.

In a totally unrealted note, I was at the blazers game last wed. vs. the cavs, and I couldn't help wondering: who would win a one on one battle between LaFrentz and his expiring contract, first to eleven by ones and twos?
