March Madness picks
So, as a kick-off to the greatest two weeks in sports, Shelbi and I decided to go off the beaten path a bit and record a podcast. If you thought I had no idea what I was doing with a blog, wait until you check this out. Shelbi and I discuss our annual March Madness picks and reveal our plans for Elliott's first bracket. Since I am completely new to this, my goal was for it to come up just short of being an unmitigated disaster and, in my estimation, we hit that description right on the mark. This is the official start to what I hope will be a two-week long blogstravaganza of basketball, beach and baby related material. Without further ado: Our first podcast.

Shelbi... Let me be the first to shame you for your inexcusable hypocrisy.
First you pick Wake Forest, a college that was actually founded by the RJ Reynolds family on land donated by the RJ Reynolds family, then you proceed to NOT pick Robert Morris, on grounds that they "sound like a tobacco company." I'd ask you how you sleep at night, but I'm guessing that question might invite a beating at this point in your life.

Shelbi and I have very similar styles when it comes to our picks.
And Matt, you're pretty spot on for how you pick Gonzaga. I do think this is the year they will do ok as a 4 seed.

Good news is I've already been to both Utah and Texas and see NO need to ever go back. I'm set.
And Pete Titterington actually called me last night around 8pm to inform me that he made it to the 23:33 mark. So, the five bucks goes to him. But I'll think of a second and third place prize. I'm THAT impressed.
