Hypothetical Sports Question of the Week (Volume 2)
So, we decided to do it again. This question is one that my friend Pete and I probably could have talked about non-stop for 5 hours. Fortunately, thanks to an Oscar-worth editing job by Pete, he paired our discussion on how sports video games might change the way actual sports are played in the near future, down to a tidy 25 minutes. Here it is. Ready? Down! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut! Hut!

Squeezed a few minutes in during lunch. My only thought so far is that Pete's team would have the most fatigued Special Teams unit in the history of football.

Mike - One thing I forgot to mention in the podcast...
On a punt or a kickoff, you have the option of calling for a fair catch and attempting a free kick from the position of the catch. A kicker's range on a free kick as got to be 60+ yards, so your scoring opportunities could be numerous. Plus, the other team's offense would be GASSED and their defense would be totally unused, minimizing the efficiency of their player utilization while maximizing your advantage. Have I thought about this too much? Yes. Yes I have.
